St Rynagh's Win Ashling Murphy Cup

St Cillians raced into a 12 point lead only to be overhauled.

St Ryanghs Camogie were crowned winners of the Ashling Murphy County Arms Hotel Division One Cup in Kilcormac over the weekend.

The Banagher club came back from a 1-1 to 3-7 deficit to St. Cillians at half time to win league honours on a final scoreline of 4-10 to 3-11 yesterday.

Ashling's parents, Kathleen and Ray Murphy were in attendance for the final of the competition that was renamed in honour of the school teacher who was killed while out for a run in Tullamore last year.
