The Laois manager looks forward to this weekend's game with Midlands 103.
Laois' senior footballers are approaching their Tailteann Cup campaign with a mix of nerves and excitement, according to their manager.
The O'Moore county won promotion from Division Four of the league in impressive fashion, winning the league final against Leitrim after topping the league standings.
There was deep disappointment with their loss to Offaly in the Leinster championship and their manager Justin McNulty says his side are eager to bounce back against Carlow this weekend.
McNulty's charges will then take on a Wicklow side that dumped Westmeath out of Leinster, and Fermanagh who have been competing in Division Two of the league.
He looks forward to Laois' opening game, and the championship challenge with Midlands 103's David Hollywood:
The action in O'Moore Park starts at 3pm on Sunday.
