Taoiseach Says Fans Could Be In Stands For All-Ireland Championships

They're hopeful of trialing fans return to sport in July.

The Taoiseach says he hopes to trial fans’ return to sport in July.

Elite sporting events across the country have played out behind closed doors since March of last year.

But Micheal Martin has raised hopes that fans could be back in stands for this summer’s All Ireland Championships.

Non-playing panel members will be allowed to attend inter-county matches this year.

Last year’s Championships had seen playing squads capped at 26.

But Minister for Sport Jack Chambers has confirmed that players not involved in a matchday squad will be allowed inside the stadium for all inter-county games.
