A Westmeath rugby club is attempting to break a Guinness World Record.
Mullingar Rugby Club is aiming to play the longest rugby game in history at Shay Murtagh Park which they are hoping to last for 36 hours.
Kick off got underway at 8am with the club aiming to break both the men's and women's records.
The club are raising funds for mental health charity Looseheadz, children's charity of rugby Wooden Spoon and the British & Irish Lions Trust which supports former Lions players.
