Three Midlands Administrators Appointed To GAA's Central Council

They're on the CAC committee.

Three administrators from clubs across the midlands will be part of the GAA's Ard Comhairle for the next three years.

Central Council is the governing body in between conferences and includes representatives from every county.

Two Westmeath men and another Laois native have been given a job on the Central Appeals Committee.

Clonkill's Matt Shaw, Tom Farrell of Tang and Gerry Kavanagh from Stradbally have been appointed.

They will act as the appeals court of Gaelic Games if a player is contesting a punishment dished out to him.

The CAC simply uphold or quash a penalty or to send it back to the CCCC for review.

Nine people make up this committtee.
