The Lough Lene Gaels man enjoyed 13 years for the Lake County.

Former Westmeath hurling captain Tommy Doyle has called time on his 13-year inter-county career.

The Lough Lene Gaels defender was part of the 2021 Joe McDonagh Cup winning team and he also collected two Division Two League medals.

Doyle says it's a "bittersweet" moment to step away as Westmeath hurling gave him "some of the best days" of his life.
