Athlone welcome former manager Tommy Hewitt back to the midlands tomorrow.
Athlone Town will be looking to back up their impressive win over Women's Premiership Champions Glentoran when they take on Sligo Rovers in the All Island Cup this weekend.
Town won a seven goal thriller 5-2 against the Northern Irish side to put them in prime position to qualify from their group this year.
The midlanders were in arguably better form in their last outing, where a Casey Howe double and a Madison Gibson goal earned them a 3-1 win against Peamount United in the league.
Was it ever in doubt? 😅

They'll be facing a familiar face in the opposition dugout and on the pitch with former Athlone manager Tommy Hewitt over Sligo now.
While Muireann Devaney followed Hewitt to Sligo during the off season this winter.
Sligo were beaten 2-0 by the league leaders Galway in their last outing in the cup competition.
