Tributes Paid To Former Liverpool Striker Roger Hunt

The Englishman has died at the age of 83.

Liverpool have led the tributes to former striker Roger Hunt, who has died at the age of 83. 

The World Cup winner passed away at home yesterday evening following a long illness.

Hunt scored three goals en-route to England lifting the Jules Rimet trophy in 1966. 

With 244 goals, he remains Liverpool’s all-time leading scorer in the league. 

Former Reds boss Roy Evans played alongside Hunt, and says the striker was a great man as well as a brilliant footballer:
