The 19 year old will be pulling on the green singlet at senior level for the first time after recently hitting the qualifying standard for the European Under 23 Championships.
O'Connor and the Team Ireland will be hoping they secure promotion to Division Two of the competition which gets underway for Ireland on June 20th.
