He suffered the torn ACL back in April 2021 during a Challenge Cup victory over Harlequins, which brought to an end an impressive run of form. He had been pushing for an increased role on a weekly basis at the time.
The 21-year-old is in the mix for the Nothern province's trip to Wales to face the Dragons on Sunday. He joins Jordi Murphy (knee), Tom Stewart (toe), Matty Rea (hamstring), and Stewart Moore (knee) back in the fray.
It'll be interesting to see if he is selected first and foremost but if he can pick up where he left off as a swashbuckling ball carrier in the lose and powerful anchor at scrum time.
