Tullamore RFC Gave Me Friends For Life - Nichola Fryday

Ireland begin their Six Nations campaign without Fryday against France on March 23rd.

It all started with in a midlands town.

Nichola Fryday is reflecting on her journey to the top of the women's game after she was named Guinness Irish Rugby Writers' Player of the Year for 2023.

The Kilcormac woman came to the sport relatively late in life yet made a big impact, first at Tullamore RFC, then provincially, professionally, and since 2016, internationally.

Now retired from international rugby, Fryday says she made friends for life at the local rugby club:
