Tullamore and Mullingar Harriers were both represented on the podium for the senior cross country championships last weekend.
Last year's men's champion Cormac Dalton of the Mullingar Harriers had to settle for third place at the Castle Irvine Estate in Fermanagh on Sunday.
Dalton came home 30 seconds behind the new national champion, Keelan Kilrehill of Moy Valley AC, and Niall Murphy of the Ennis Track Club who finished in second three seconds ahead of the Wesmteaht man.
Meanwhile Danielle Donegan of the Tullamore Harriers came home in third in a time of 27:23, with Ann-Marie McGlynn of Letterkenny AC in first, Leevale's Niamh Allen in third.
