Westmeath are gearing up for a huge tie this weekend.

Westmeath Assistant Manager Emmet McDonnell says the two pointer rule is making a big difference to Gaelic Football. 

His side are gearing up for a Leinster semi-final meeting with Kildare this weekend, as they aim to reach a first provincial final in 10 years. 

Westmeath took down Meath in the previous round by five points, while Kildare saw off Laois. 

Assistant Manager Emmet McDonnell says he's hoping for more big results in the championship this summer:
