World Cup Cancellations Cause Controversy

Two games called off

For the first time in the 32 year history of the World Cup, matches have been cancelled.

England's game against France and New Zealand's tie with Italy, both pencilled in for Saturday, are off due to the imminent arrival of Typhoon Hagibis in Japan.

The result is that England will top Pool C ahead of France and New Zealand will top Pool B ahead of South Africa.
