Maguire announced his retirement after Caulry's win over Tang on Sunday.
After 14 years playing inter-county football, Kevin Maguire has called time on his Westmeath career.
The Caulry man is citing persistent injury issues as one of the motivating factors behind the decision to stop.
Maguire first pulled on the Maroon senior jersey in 2010 and captained the Lake County since 2021.
The defensive stalwart led Westmeath to Tailteann Cup success in 2022, and a Division Three league title this year.
All associated with Westmeath GAA would like to wish our captain Kevin Maguire the very best of luck for the future after he recently announced his retirement from intercounty football.
