Athlone Town have a chance to secure European football on Saturday.
Athlone Town defender Kayleigh Shine says her side are not too far off the best that Europe has to offer despite their exit from the Champions League yesterday.
Town were beaten 3-1 by Icelandic champions Breidablik, with Izzy Groves getting on the end of a Madison Gibson cross and getting her side's only strike.
They will now face Red Star Belgrade in a third-place playoff this weekend, with a win securing them a spot in the Europa Cup for the 2025/26 season.
