Laois' season is now finished until the league campaign in 2026.
Laois have been knocked out of the Tailteann Cup after a heavy defeat away to Westmeath in TEG Cusack Park on Saturday evening.
Last season's finalists were beaten 3-26 to 1-15 in Mullingar in their preliminary quarter final clash.
It brings an end to the season for the O'Moore county who finished third in group two and failed to gain promotion from Division 3.
