Laois Chair PJ Kelly joins Midlands 103 to discuss the issue from the county board's perspective.
The Chair of Laois GAA is expressing doubts over the future prospects of successfully merging the Gaelic Games associations.
The three associations of the GAA, the LGFA and Camogie voted overwhelmingly to pursue a path of amalgamation in August.
PJ Kelly says he's concerned the GAA barely has enough resources to support itself, let alone another two associations.
Former President of Ireland, Mary McAleese is working as the independent Chairperson of the integration process.
She said in September a plan for integration would be ready in February.
The GPA said in October players would be ready to take collective action if a promised women's charter wasn't delivered for 2024.
The Laois GAA chair joined Midlands 103's David Hollywood to discuss the future of the three association:
The full interview between PJ Kelly and David Hollywood will be released over Christmas and will include a review of Laois' 2023 season in both hurling and football.
