Westmeath suffered their second defeat in the Joe McDonagh Cup at home to Laois.

Westmeath Hurling Manager Kevin O'Brien is describing the defeat at home to Laois as "one of those days".

He watched as his side fell to a 5-28 to 2-19 defeat at home to the O'Moore County in the Joe McDonagh Cup on Saturday.

A result which leaves their hopes of reaching the Joe McDonagh Cup decider in jeopardy. 

They turn their attention to the clash away to Antrim this Saturday.
