Offaly's most successful club are aiming high once again.
Coolderry are into the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals after emerging from a back and forth contest against Shinrone.
The game was in the melting pot until the closing stages, when a Gearoid McCormack goal and Stephen Corcoran point gave Brian Carroll's side a bit of breathing room against the 2022 champions.
Coolderry saw the game out to win on a final scoreline of 3-20 to 2-17.
Carroll says he's full of respect for Shinrone but wanted to see his club prove they were the better side:
The Coolderry manager looks back on an entertaining game with Midlands 103's Brian Gavin:
In the championship's other quarter final, St Rynagh's got the better of Birr by 0-20 to 0-17.
That means Rynagh's progress to face Ballinamere in the semi-finals, while Coolderry will have to beat the defending champions, Kilcormac-Killoughey if they're to make a county final.
