Westmeath Adapt And Improve To Put Limerick Away

The Lake County recovered from a poor first half to claim another two points.

Dessie Dolan is praising the maturity of his Westmeath footballers after they registered their fourth consecutive win yesterday afternoon.

The Lake County were underwhelming in the first half of their meeting with Limerick, reaching the break just a point to the good having had the aid of a strong breeze.

After some discussion at half time, Dolan's charges were much improved for the remainder of the game, running out 0-14 to 1-8 winners.

Dolan says his team are showing how they've developed in recent seasons.

He tells Midlands 103's Gerry Russell the most important thing, is to get a win:
