Laois And Westmeath Clash In National Football League

A win can move Westmeath towards securing promotion.

Westmeath and Laois renew their rivalry this weekend in Division Three of the National Football League. 

The midlands side meet in O'Moore Park tomorrow, with both searching for a potential season defining win. 

The Lake County are on the hunt for promotion to Division Two, as they've recorded three wins out of four games, while Laois sit with three points following defeat away to Clare. 

Midlands 103 commentator Gerry Buckley believes Westmeath need to avoid conceding further soft goals during the campaign. 

He says Laois will provide a strong test:
