Both counties are preparing for a rare national semi-final meeting.
Offaly and Westmeath are finalising preparations ahead of a rare national semi-final between the counties this Sunday.
Both sides have been impressive on their way to the Tailteann Cup semi-finals, which both take place at Croke Park.
Offaly have recovered from a disappointing Leinster Championship defeat to Wexford, while Westmeath already have Croke Park experience after going down to Kildare there last month.
Lake County selector Dessie Dolan is pleased with how the competition has been run so far:
Offaly Senior football vice-captain Ruairi McNamee says players are happy to have the opportunity to play in Croke Park this weekend.
The move to fix both games for GAA HQ has been criticised by some, due to the low attendances seen at many Croke Park games this year.
But Ruairi says the Senior footballers are happy to have the chance to play there for the first time in championship since 2013:
We'll have live commentary on The Inside Line this Sunday with thanks to Bethany House Nursing Home, Tyrrellspass, and Property Partners, McDonnell Athlone, Moore Larkin Mullingar, and Richard Cleary Tullamore.
