Westmeath And Offaly Teams Named For Tonight's U-20 Football Championship Clash

Meath play Dublin in the other last four contest.

Westmeath were first to name their team for this massive Leinster U-20 Football Championship semi-final.

Damien Gavin's side have already secured victories over Kildare and an epic penalty shootout win over Longford last week following a final score of 2-12 to 3-9.

In all, the high scoring lake county have hit 3-27 in the championship thus far and will be hoping their potent forward line will do the business again.

Eight clubs are once again represented in the starting team, Coralstown-Kinnegad, St.Lomans, Athlone, Ballinagore, The Downs, Milltown, Milltownpass and Killucan.

Gavin makes one change between the pipes as Sam Martin takes over from Michael Lynam of St. Josephs.

Westmeath starting XV:

Sam Martin; Josh Gahan, Charlie Drumm, Ciaran Daly; Enda Gaffney, Darragh Seery, Michael Byrne, Jack Murtagh, Ciaran Daly; Shane Fleming, Kevin O'Sullivan, Brandon Kelly; Jack Torpey, Ben McGauran, Devin Hill.

Meanwhile Declan Kelly has stuck with the same Offaly team that defeated Wexford by a solitary point last Thursday in Wexford Park.

Ten clubs have sent players to this starting team, Shamrocks, Bracknagh, Edenderry, Tullamore, Shannonbridge, Clara, Ferbane, Rhode, Ballinagar and Kilcormac-Killoughey.

The winner of this contest will face Dublin or Meath in the Leinster Final.

They meet one another in Navan tonight also from 7:30.
