Westmeath Boxer Signs First Pro Contract ¦ Debut Expected In Scotland

She's expected to make her debut in April.

Athlone's Cheyanne O'Neill is turning to the pro ranks. 

She's signed a contract with Scottish promotors Keynoch promotions and will take to the ring for the first time as a professional in April, most likely in Scotland. 

The 25-year-old will campaign in the welterweight division.

G5 Irish Champion 2015 (63kg)
G6 Irish Champion 2016

Esker Box Cup Gold 2016/2017/2018

When confirming the news, RF Sports Management said the following: 

RF Sports Management and Kynoch Boxing Promotions are delighted to announce the signing of former Irish Elite Amateur Cheyanne O’Neill. Cheyanne boasts a stellar amateur career representing Ireland between 2013 and 2019. 

Cheyanne will campaign in the welterweight division and fans can expect to see the Athlone woman make her debut in April (further details to be announced shortly).
