One is making their pro debut.
Two Westmeath boxers take to the ring on two separate continents tonight.
Athlone's Cheyanne O'Neill is set to make her professional debut in Glasgow against an experienced Lithuanian opponent, Vaida Masiokaite.
The 25-year-old made the decision to turn professional in January after completing a tour of duty with the Defence Forces.
Her Scottish promoters 'Kynoch Boxing' said:
Training has been intense the last few months as she prepares to make the transition to the professional ranks.
There's already been a slight bump in the road when her opponent changed at the eleventh hour, the Athlone native was due to face Nancy Moreira.
The fight takes place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel this evening.
Meanwhile Moate's Joe Ward has his first fight of 2022 in Chicago later, when he takes on Mexican veteran Oscar Riojas.
Ward will be stepping up to an eight round bout for the first time in what will be his eighth pro fight.
Times Square Boxing, who manage the Moate man announced the fight, saying:
"This Friday, our future champion 'Mighty' Joe Ward is back in action, stepping up against an experienced veteran.
"If you're in Chicago come out and watch Joe take another step towards boxing stardom, and if you can't make it, tune in to BXNG to catch all the action."
The bout was due to take place in Canada earlier this week but was rescheduled for the windy city at short notice.
Those wishing to tune into Ward's fight will need to have a late night, it is due to get underway at roughly 1:30am Irish time.
