John Heslin has emerged as an injury concern for Westmeath ahead of their Championship opener against Louth.

The Lake County talisman wasn't fit to take the field for their dead-rubber league ending win over Tipperary.

Luke Loughlin and Lorcan Dolan combined for the Westmeath goal, scored by Dolan, that settled that particular contest.
