Athlone Town Women's Team are to be celebrated at a civic reception in Westmeath this evening.
Westmeath County Council are hosting the event dedicated to John Sullivan's side following a successful 2025 campaign on the pitch.
Athlone Town secured a first ever league and cup double success in 2025, as well as competing in games across Europe.
The clubs U19s team will also be part of the ceremony.
The reception gets underway at 5:00pm from the Council Chamber, Civic Centre in Athlone this evening.
