Jessica Hennessy is making the move from Shamrock Rovers to England.
Westmeath's Jessica Hennessy has been picked up by Nottingham Forest in a one year deal from Shamrocks Rovers.
The former Athlone Town centre half moves to the Women's National League North in England after two strong campaigns with the Dublin club.
Forest operate in the third tier of English football and currently sit top of the league after four games.
Hennessy was named in the Women's Premier Division team of the year in both 2022 and 23, she also lined-out for Town in their FAI Cup final defeat to Shelbourne two years ago.
The former Loughnavalley and Westmeath Ladies footballer joins Casey Howe at Forest who made the move just a couple of weeks ago from Athlone.
Hennessy joined Midlands 103's David Hollywood to discuss her move to England:
