The Lake County are playing to maintain and improve their form before a potentially decisive match against Antrim.
There's little hope for Westmeath fans ahead of their meeting with Galway in Mullingar on Saturday, according to Gerry Buckley of the Westmeath Examiner.
The Lake County opened their Leinster Senior Championship campaign with a heavy defeat to Kilkenny.
They improved considerable against Dublin last time out but were still on the receiving end of a 2-23 to 1-14 beating.
Buckley says Henry Shefflin's Galway will be too good for Westmeath, but they can hope to continue improving:
Throw in at TEG Cusack Park is set for 6pm on Saturday.
