Westmeath are positive despite defeat in their opening round of the league.
Frank Browne is declaring himself moderately happy with the start of the Westmeath footballers in the Ladies National Football League last weekend.
Browne saw his side go down to a 2-7 to 1-9 loss on the road to Tyrone after giving the Ulster side a six point head start.
Despite the loss, the new Westmeath manager says he's seeing positive signs in the performance of his players.
He tells David Hollywood he was happy with his side's application in Naomh Eoghan last Sunday, and the panel are ready to own their own identity:
This weekend, Westmeath travel to Monaghan for the second round of their Division Two campaign.
Elsewhere in Division Two Laois face a trip to Cavan, and in Division Three Offaly are against Antrim in Edenderry.
