Westmeath Ladies Bag First Win Of League Season

Laois fell to defeat in Division Three, while Offaly's game was called off.

Westmeath secured their first victory of the season in the National Ladies Football League. 

The Lake County produced a strong away performance against Wexford, as they secured a 4-10 to 1-13 win. 

That result gives their hopes of maintaining their Division Two status a significant shot in the arm.

Laois suffered defeat on the road in Division Three, as Stephen Duff's side were beaten by Clare 4-07 to 2-11.

Offaly's game away to Longford in Division Four was postponed and will be played at a later date.
