Cusack Park is set to play host to the knockout group phase game.
Both Westmeath and Cavan meet in Cusack Park coming off the back of defeats to Down in the All Ireland Ladies Intermediate Football Championship.
Frank Browne's side were in action against the women from Mourne last weekend and fell to two point loss.
The previous week, Cavan were beaten by the same opposition 1-13 to 0-9.
The winners will progress to an All Ireland quarter final, with the losers heading for a relegation play-off.
Browne says his side will be determined to avenge a league loss to Cavan earlier this year:
The game throws in in Mullingar at 2pm on Sunday.
