Momentum is building in Westmeath ahead of their Ladies National Football League opener against Cork this weekend.
Frank Browne is over the Lake County outfit for a second season after maintaining their Division 2 status last year, and coming agonisingly close to winning the Intermediate Leinster Championship.
Browne insists if Westmeath are going to challenge for silverware this season, their league campaign will be crucial.
