The Lake County welcome Antrim to TEG Cusack Park this weekend, following a loss to Down.
Westmeath will have to find a way to bounce back from the "bitter disappointment" of losing to Down last time out, to claim a crucial brace of points this weekend.
The Lake County were ahead by 7 points at one stage in Newry but found themselves pegged back to lose on a final scoreline of 1-10 to 11 points.
This weekend they welcome Antrim to TEG Cusack Park knowing a win might not be enough to put them back in the running for promotion.
