Westmeath Lose At Quarter-Final Stage In Thrilling Clash

Manager Frank Browne is praising the players' fight after the contest.

A thrilling contest saw Westmeath lose at the Quarter-Final stage of the Intermediate All-Ireland Championship.

Wexford got the best of the Lake County on a final score-line of 5-15 to 4-12 after extra-time.

It means Wexford will go on to play Limerick in the Semi-Final of the Championship on July 14th, while Down and Tyrone will face off in the other clash.
