The Lake County just came up short against Meath.

Westmeath suffered heartbreak in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship.

Diarmuid Cahill's side lost out 1-11 to 0-10 to Meath in Semple Stadium on Saturday.

Amy Gaffney's late goal coming into injury time made the difference as The Lake County were unable to conjure a late response.

The Royaler's will take on Derry in the decider after their 0-21 to 0-14 win over Kilkenny.

The All-Ireland final will take place on Sunday August 6th from Croke Park.
