They face Tang in the quarter-final of the Westmeath Senior Football Championship this weekend.
Tyrrellspass have the "firepower" to shoot their way past Tang and in to a county semi-final, according to Midlands 103 commentator Gerry Buckley.
Ray Sheridan's side were well beaten by eight points last time out against Coralstown/Kinnegad, who are already in the last four.
They'll be hoping to have Ger Egan back among those returning for selection this weekend.
Buckley says if Tyrrellspass get one or two back from injury and suspension they'll be the likely team to progress:
