The beaten finalists of 2020 ran out 3-16 to 2-8 winners over Tang in Sunday evening's quarter final contest in TEG Cusack Park in Mullingar.
Tang finished the first period in the ascendency striking a brace of goals to lead by three at the break.
Tyrrellspass saw the contest out in the second half, adding 17 points and restricting their opponents to just three.
They'll now face St. Loman's in the last four of the competition.
