That's according to midland's commentator Gerry Buckley ahead of the beginning of this season's Westmeath Senior Hurling Championship this weekend.
Defending champions Castletown Geoghegan begin their hunt for back-to-back titles on Sunday against Fr. Daltons, while last year's beaten finalists Clonkill will face Lough Lene Gaels on Saturday.
Division one league champions Castlepollard face Raharney Saturday evening in their opening game, all games will take place from TEG Cusack Park.
Speaking to Liam White, Buckley says that other challengers like Castlepollard and Lough Lene Gaels will be strong contenders:
