It may only be the third round but it's a huge weekend in the Westmeath Senior Hurling Championship with so much at stake for many teams.
The action get's underway on Friday night as Lough Lene Gaels look to make it three wins from three when they take on Fr. Daltons in search of their first win of the campaign.
A win for Lough Lene Gaels will boast their hopes of progressing to the knockout stages.
Last seasons' beaten finalists Clonkill are in must win territory as they face league champions Castlepollard.
Having suffered two defeats already, the 17-time winners will know that a third defeat could potentially spark the end of their push for this years championship .
Noel Boyce's men will be looking to bounce back after their defeat to Lough Lene Gaels last time out.
And finally the two previous winners Castletown Geoghegan and Raharney will battle it out on Saturday evening. A win for Castletown could secure their place in the next round, while Raharney will be looking to build on their win against Fr. Daltons in their previous fixture.
All games this weekend will take place in TEG Cusack Park on Friday and Saturday evening.
