Castletown Geoghegan inflicted a first championship defeat of the year on Lough Lene Gaels on Sunday.
Lough Lene Gaels will have to shoot more accurately if they're to challenge for this year's Westmeath Senior Hurling Championship, according to their manager Joey Williams.
Last year's beaten finalists won their opening two fixtures in this year's competition before going down to a 1-18 to 2-10 defeat to Castletown Geoghegan on Sunday.
Their appearance in the 2023 decider was their first county final appearance since 2009.
