James Derwin is this year's European Pony Show Jumping champion.
Athlone teenager James Derwin has been nominated by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports in the Longines Rising Star category for his show jumping exploits this year.
James, who has recently been crowned European Pony Show Jumping champion is nominated with three more rising stars.
Alice Casburn of Great Britain, Sam Dos Santos from Netherlands, and Karla Dyhm-Junge of Denmark.
Public voting, which will count for 50 per cent of the final result, is open here until the 16th of October.
