Westmeath Staring Down The Barrell For Midlands Derby

Midlands 103 analyst Gerry Buckley looks forward to a crunch clash in Tullamore.

Westmeath will have to produce a dramatically better performance against Offaly in the second round of the Joe McDonagh Cup or they'll be facing an effective exit from the championship.

That's according to Midlands 103 Analyst Gerry Buckley ahead of this weekend's Midlands derby.

Kerry were the surprise winners in Mullingar in the first round, while Offaly were beaten by a late run by laois.

Buckley says a repeat of the Kerry performance will end their season prematurely.
