Westmeath Suffer Extra Time Heartbreak Against Tyrone

The Lake County lost out by three points.

Westmeath Ladies have missed out on reaching the All Ireland Intermediate Football Final. 

The Lake County lost out on a scoreline of 4-17 to 4-14 against Tyrone after extra time over the weekend and thus brought their season to a conclusion. 

Sarah Dillon and Anna Jones combined to score 2-12 between them but it wasn't enough as Tyrone sealed victory thanks to Sorcha Gormley's 73rd minute strike.
