Westmeath sit bottom of the Joe McDonagh Cup group stage after suffering a second defeat in two weeks.

Shane O'Brien's team went down by 11 points to Kerry 2-19 to 0-14, having spent almost all the second half playing with 14 men.

Niall O'Brien was dismissed after 40 minutes with the Lake County leading by one point. 

Next up for them is a derby with Meath on November 21st.
