The Lake County returned the favour after Meath won out last time the sides met.

Westmeath are marching on to the Intermediate Camogie Championship quarter finals after they were impressive winners over Meath on Saturday.

The final score in Raharney was 4-11 to 2-7.

That result turns the tables on their rivals and neighbours who ran out winners when the sides last met in league action in Trim in March.

Elsewhere a difficult championship campaign for Laois came to an end in defeat.

Kerry were 2-15 to 0-9 winners in Rathdowney.
