Westmeath Trainer Runs Granville Street At Galway Races

The eight year old gelding has a number of questions to answer about his hurdling form.

The Galway Plate is the standout on Day Three of the Galway Races.

Westmeath trainer Ciaran Murphy has one runner on today's card.

He runs Granville Street with jockey Eoin Walsh in the 5.35 two and three quarter mile handicap hurdle.

It's the eight year old's first run over hurdles since February when he was well beaten by the field in Naas, finishing 14th of 16 runners 48 lengths off the pace on heavy ground.

The going is being given as good today.

The first of seven races at Ballybrit goes to post today at 5:05.
