Westmeath's Ronan Foxe Starts For Ireland In World Cup Final

The Rahugh man has impressed throughout the Under 20 World Rugby Championship

Westmeath's Ronan Foxe will be fronting up for Ireland when they take on France in the under 20 World Rugby Championship Final this week.

The man from Rahugh earned a starting berth in last weekend's semi final against home side South Africa after telling contributions from the bench in previous rounds.

Manager Richie Murphy has made one change to his starting 15 from last weekend’s semi-final win over South Africa, as James McNabney comes back into the back row and Diarmuid Mangan switches to the second row.

Ireland have never won a world title at this level, with their best previous effort coming in a losing final appearance against England in 2016.

Both sides are unbeaten heading in to Friday's decider which kicks off at 6pm Irish time.
