Willie Hyland Calls Time As Clough Ballacolla Depart Leinster Championship

The Laois champions are of the Leinster championship after a brave defeat in Nowlan Park.

Willie Hyland is calling time on his spell as Clough Ballacolla manager.

It comes after the club's season ended in Nowlan Park yesterday.

The Laois champions produced their best performance of the season to push Ballyhale Shamrocks all the way to the final whistle.

The game ended 1-18 to 1-15. Hyland says he'll find the loss hard to get over:

Ballyhale face St Martin's in the decider after the Wexford club beat Naas of Kildare by 21 points to 11.
